The 3 Style Area Cup in Sigri - Work in Progress

Whilst the whole EFPT crew have been very busy at the event in Austria, also our partners in Sigri, Greece have been working hard on the stop of the tour which they will stage from the 10th to the 12th of August. Marcel Simon, who is organising the event, put a lot of effort in it over the last few months. His dedication paid off and he managed to get more and more people and companies involved to support the event. 

The energy drink giant Red Bull got hooked up by Marcel and his team recently. Supporting the biggest ideas, shows and events in the extreme sport world and beyond. It is not very surprising that the Red Bull marketing department jumped on board, after the presentation of the event. The brand promised to provide a Red Bull truck with a huge sound system to guarantee the right music for the action happening both on and off the water. Furthermore, they will supply the center with buoys to mark the heat area and the riders with a continuous stream of free energy drinks. 

As important as it is to activate the spirit and body, as the Red Bull slogan says, it takes a bit more to grow wings and fly even higher if you are a professional in your sport. Ask any health coach or sports scientist, and they will all tell you that nutrition in sport is highly important. So at Sigri they have decided that not only the quantity but also the quality matters. The team of the Sigri Surfcenter has already started preparing the center in the beginning of April and Marcel sent us some shots of his latest windsurfing sessions.
