CHIEMSEE EUROPEAN TOW IN CHAMPIONSHIP - The Starter List is fixed

Today at 12.00 o'clock the skippers meeting for the tow in event was held by race officer and head judge Tom Hartmann. He announced the starter list, together with the first ten riders who are going to compete in the first qualification round at 8.30 this night. 

The spectators in Podersdorf will see in the first round: Tonky and Taty Frans from Bonaire, Yegor Propretinskiy (Russia), Bryan Metcalf Perez (USA), Adrian Beholz (Germany), Nicola Spadea (Italy), Phil Richards and Adam Sims from the United Kingdom and two of the top picks this year French rider Nicolas Akgazciyan (Starboard) and Austrian Max Matissek (North/Fanatic). 

Power moves and double moves can be expected for tonight, especially air funnels and burners which guarantee the most spectacular action. Each sailor will have two runs with the better one counting. Points will be decided after the technical difficulty of the maneuver and the style of execution. 

We will have one rider hosting the live ticker on Facebook each night to keep you all updated and to make sure, that you feel like you would be standing first row on the beach while the riders circle their moves through the air. 

The first rider to do the live ticker, who is also going to compete in the tow in, will be Marco Wedele from Germany. The experienced sailor is based in Dahab, Egypt and recently made it into windsurfing related media by promoting his new teaching video 'GoPro with Colin and Marco'.
